From official government registers including QBCC (QLD), Fair Trading (NSW), VBA (VIC), DEMIRS/DMIRS (WA), ACT, NT, CBOS (TAS), and Consumer and Business Services SA for active PGE and Builder/BLD records. WorkClear keeps the official record visible and adds a consistent search/API format.
It varies by state and source. Most live sources refresh daily to weekly. The Status page shows the latest update time, record count, and current availability for each source.
Yes. A free account includes web search across current live coverage. Paid plans add API access and higher API volume. Business adds dashboard bulk CSV checks.
WorkClear has live public coverage across QLD, NSW, VIC, SA, WA, ACT, NT, and TAS, with important category boundaries shown on the Status page. South Australia is live for active CBS PGE and Builder/BLD records, and QLD electrical worker checks are not live yet. Current live coverage totals over 1.1M licence records.
Web search is for manual checks. The API is for running the same checks from your own app, portal, CRM, marketplace, or internal system. API access is available on paid plans.
We cover building and trade licences across live Australian state and territory registers, including active South Australian PGE and Builder/BLD records. Real-estate licensing is live in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia, the Australian Capital Territory, the Northern Territory, and Tasmania, and QLD security licensing is live as the first security source.
Traffic is encrypted with TLS 1.3, and WorkClear is hosted in Australia. We store the account activity needed for search history, API keys, billing, and usage limits. We do not sell search data.
